I grew up in Milton, Massachusetts, a small town south of Boston. After graduating from Milton High School in 2006, I attended Bridgwater State University where I majored in English and minored in Special Education. Working with children at a summer camp, after school program, and a physical development clinic made me realize how much I loved working with children. Shortly after graduation I received my Master degree in education at Curry College.
In the past years I have taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade classrooms in Pembroke and Marshfield Public schools. After 5 years of teaching elementary school in Massachusetts I moved to Cumberland, Maine, where my husband, Greg grew up. I was so excited to join the 4th grade team at YES because 4th grade has always been my favorite grade level!
In my spare time I enjoy reading, cooking, and hiking. I love traveling and spending time with my family and friends.

I am thrilled to share my love of learning with my students in Yarmouth this year!
